On the Move
Well, Lexi is officially crawling now. She still likes to do her army or worm crawl, but she is actually do the real crawl now. She is also 8 months old today! Time flys :O) She is such a happy baby. She weighs 19 pounds, but I don't know how tall she is. We don't go back to the doctor until 9 months. She is getting better and better at bye bye (saying & waving) and when you say yea Lexi she will clap.
On another note, we are out for Christmas holidays tomorrow and basketball season is in full swing. I am back to being a single mom. Drew played Tuesday, Tonight, Tomorrow, Saturday & Monday - all on the road, except Tuesday. But it is leaps and bounds better than last year, because last year the week before Christmas Drew was in Florida in a basketball tournament.
We are so excited about Christmas. We are doing McBrayer Christmas lunch in Louisville this Sunday, and then everything else right around Christmas. We exchanged presents w/ Hunter last night at our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Lexi got a bubble machine for the bathtub, but I think Madyson likes it more than Lexi. Madyson got an Ariel umbrella - that she absolutely loves & an Ariel coloring thingy - for lack of a better word, she has already colored most the pages.
Lexi had her first Christmas party today. They had to take a book to exchange. Sherri said she did great - she only tried to eat the wrapping paper like 3 times. Madyson also had her Christmas party. I had to get books for her party too, but of course she ended up opening the ones I bought. They told us to get gender neutral, but they each ended up opening their own presents. I kinda thought they would so I got 2 books I knew Madyson would enjoy - Sticker books :O)

Grandpa Power Update
First I want to thank everyone for their prayers. Grandpa's surgery went well. He will be in ICU for 24 - 48 hours. Dad got to see him last night & again this morning. About 12 hours after surgery he was up sitting in the chair & talking. He got taken off the vent last night. He said he was feeling good, just a little nauseous. Grandma is even coming to see him at the next visitation. Thanks again for all the prayers, but don't stop yet!

Doctor Update
Well, we had Lexi's 6 months dr. visit today! She weighs 18 pounds on the dot & is 26 1/4 inches. She is tall & "chunky"(that was Drew's word) for her age, but he said she was doing great. Lexi did wonderful with her shots! She did have some fluid on her ears, but they popped them & the fluid should drain so they wont get infected.
Her big sister ended up having to see the Dr. too. Daycare called me this morning, telling me Madyson had fallen and scraped her face & I really needed to come see it. Mrs. Anita (owner) was really worried about it & of course had me freaked out so we took her to the Dr. She was bouncing around - normal Madyson, and fell & hit her check bone right under her temple. Nothing is broken or fractured, but she is going to have a major bruise! Madyson is 39 inches & 32 pounds.

Sitting Up
Watch me grow. I am getting so big. She is starting to get good at sitting alone. She can't sit herself up, but she can hold herself up (for a little while anyway) if you sit her up. In case you are wondering, I checked Madyson's baby book and she sat alone at 5 1/2 months. Guess how old Lexi is? :O)
