Madyson had Cheer Camp this week Monday, Tuesday & Thursday. They performed at the football game Friday night & got to be part of the line up that the football team ran through. She loves it!! - and as much as she loves it, it kills her daddy!! There is video to come, but it is about 3 minutes so it will take me awhile to load.

Madyson is working on her jumps! But remember she has been taking tumbling, not cheerleading so this part is new to her. It is also the very last thing they do after 2 hours of practice in an extremely HOT gym!

All-Stars & Tumbling

Madyson has started Full Out All Stars! We are no longer taking private lessons. She is part of an All Star Cheer & Tumble Squad that will actual travel and compete in competitions. She has practice every Monday from 6 -8 pm. In her words it is "Awesome" It is a great way to get come of her energy out. There is 1 or 2 other 5 year olds that are on the squad. She has tumbling for the first hour and then cheer for the 2nd hour. I know what your thinking - Drew is allowing this!! With much argument he has agreed. This is what she loves doing and it is more athletic than dance. The girl is strong as an ox and has abs of steal not to mention huge guns for arms! She still loves baseball & basketball so all hope is not lost! She will play Upward Bound basketball this fall.

The NH cheerleaders are going to have a mini camp in September. Madyson will get to do her cheers and chants before the game & will get to be in the victory line when the team runs out on the field! She is super excited, but of course there is a catch......no RED LIGHTS at school! (which will be hard for her!)

We have also started Lexi w/ private lessons for Tumbling! She has had 2 so far and really does well! She loves it and loves her teacher (same one Madyson had, by request!) She is working on her cartwheel & perfecting her back bend!

WATER BUGS!!

We swim at least 2 times a day! Once in the morning and then again late afternoon or after supper. Lexi went from skiddish to full out in about 5 days! Now she is unstoppable - just like Madyson, of course! Sure makes for good sleeping at night!!

Thursday, May 13, 2010 Preschool Graduation from ABC & ME Christian PreSchool!

Madyson had her graduation ceremony/program on Thursday. They have been preparing for about 2 weeks. She did great! I can't believe she is going to kindergarten already. I am so upset, b/c most of the pictures I took had horrible lighting and made their eyes shiney or the pictures hazey. Here are a couple of the good ones!
