The Thursday before Thanksgiving our dryer decided to catch on fire. Thankfully the fire was contained in the dryer, however the smoke was not! The smoke took over the house. Luckily Drew came home before the fire could come out of the dryer. Even w/o fire there was lots of smoke damage. We stayed a week with grammy until the house was cleaned. We were very lucky! On the bright side we got a new washing machine, dryer and recliner!

A friend from work volunteered to take pictures of the girls at Lake Lowndes. We were really hoping to get some good shots for Christmas cards. However, Lexi did not want to cooperate, of course! Yes, that is Madyson on top of the stunt! You can see why she loves it!

Madyson has started Full Out All Stars! We are no longer taking private lessons. She is part of an All Star Cheer & Tumble Squad that will actual travel and compete in competitions. She has practice every Monday from 6 -8 pm. In her words it is "Awesome" It is a great way to get come of her energy out. There is 1 or 2 other 5 year olds that are on the squad. She has tumbling for the first hour and then cheer for the 2nd hour. I know what your thinking - Drew is allowing this!! With much argument he has agreed. This is what she loves doing and it is more athletic than dance. The girl is strong as an ox and has abs of steal not to mention huge guns for arms! She still loves baseball & basketball so all hope is not lost! She will play Upward Bound basketball this fall.

The NH cheerleaders are going to have a mini camp in September. Madyson will get to do her cheers and chants before the game & will get to be in the victory line when the team runs out on the field! She is super excited, but of course there is a catch......no RED LIGHTS at school! (which will be hard for her!)

We have also started Lexi w/ private lessons for Tumbling! She has had 2 so far and really does well! She loves it and loves her teacher (same one Madyson had, by request!) She is working on her cartwheel & perfecting her back bend!

Madyson's first at bat in her first t-ball game! She did a really good job! She even slided into home! They are sooo cute. We only had one kid that ran from first base to right field, one ran from third straight to the dugout, one hit the ball and ran after it, one was on third and when we hit it tackled the pitcher for the ball! If you are ever depressed come watch a t-ball game there is no way you can leave without laughing! I am pretty sure we won, had we been keeping score. Every team bats around and then switch, however we actually did get 3 outs in the 1st inning if you were keeping track!!

I never thought it would get here, but it sure went by fast! Check out my facebook or snapfish for complete pictures.

Saturday morning we headed to Jackson to spend the day/night w/ Great Grandparents Hatch and hit the museums. The girls had a blast at the Science Museum, little too young for the Art Museum. I think they enjoyed hanging out the great grandparents at thier house more than either one. We missed Aunt Cathi, who had to go help Ash with a sick baby! (hope Lucy is feeling all better)

We got up Sunday morning and headed to Hattiesburg to visit Paige, James, Taylor and Baby J! San-San & Papa Smurf were also there. The girls played all day Sunday and Monday morning we headed to New Orleans. Papa Smurf & Drew went and played golf, of course. San-San, I and the girls walked through the French Quarters, met DeeDee, Uncle Charlie & Zoey and went to play in the Monkey Room, then hit Chucky Cheese for supper! What a day! The girls loved it! Madyson made a new best friend & can not wait to see Zoey again!

Tuesday morning we are off to the Zoo & then a lazy evening in the hotel. Wednesday morning we rode the "Charlie Car" to the Aquarium & then headed back to Columbus. Madyson called to Trolley Car the Charlie Car!!

Kristi Rector, Lauren Garriga, mom & I threw Allie a baby shower. It was great. She had a lot of friends show up, Kristi did an awesome job of decorating and planning. Weekend Update

Other than a heartbreaking end to the basketball season that will take a long time to get over, it was a beautiful weekend. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful weekend to kick off baseball. Lee had his first game as Head Coach of the prestigious New Hope Baseball program. It was just a preseason jamboree, but a great way to shake early jitters for both players and coaches! The won both games!

We got to spend time with family, too! My cousin James, his wife Sarah and their 2 month old baby boy, Eli, came in from Ohio. Because we don't get to see them often, my grandparents, Aunt Cathi and cousin Ashley and the girls favorite, Baby Lucy came too! We had a great visit and my grandparents got to spend time with 4 great-grand kids!

With basketball season sadly over, I will try and keep the blog updated a little better!

POTTY TRAINING

Ok, we have been potty training a week now. I haven't wanted to post anything, b/c I didn't want to jinx it. We did the 3 day potty trainnig technique that Hunter & Taylor both did. The first day was a headache. We had 8 accidents the 1st day, 5 the 2nd day, & 3 the third. We were nervous to send her back to school w/ BIG GIRL PANTIES, but she has done great. She had one accident at nap time on the first day, none the second day, one the 3rd day & none the 4th. So she made it through daycare w/ 2 accidents this week. We are still working on it, so keep your fingers crossed, but she is doing pretty good.

Basketball Update

Well, Basketball Season is over. We lost a heartbreaker in the North State Tournament to Calloway (the defending State Champs & Grand Slam Champs) in DOUBLE OVERTIME 78-75. This should allow for some more free time, so I should be able to update the blog better. We had an incredible season, no one gave us a chance and we proved ourselves to be fighters. Those kids have more heart than any other team in the NATION! We finished an incredible 25-4, and Drew did it alone! No assistant coach! I am so proud of my husband and every last one of those boys.

James Edward Wamble IV (Baby J!) is here :O) He was born about 2:15 today and weighed 6lbs 4oz. Paige has pictures on her facebook, he is precious & tiny. I will try and get pictures soon. Congrats Paige & James, and the new big sister Taylor!!

Madyson wanted to back Grammy a cake for her birthday. So she called grammy and asked her what kind she wanted. Grammy said strawberry shortcake, but this was as close as we got. Strawberry cake w/ strawberry icing and decorated with sprinkles, and of course - Strawberries! She really did help do everything & it tasted great!

I wanted to get a toy box for Lexi for Christmas. I was just going to order on online, but when you have a talented dad who can make anything I decided to ask him first. He did an awesome job, of course. I knew it would mean more if it was something he built, rather than just another thing I bought for her. However, when you have a big sister like Madyson - you know you cant make something just for Lexi. She told grandpa - "I can't believe you built something for Lexi and not me!" So grandpa, of course he had to make something for Madyson too! Just last night Madyson, again said "Grandpa, I don't have a toy box, but that is okay because I can just use Lexi's" She is too big!

Thanks for the awesome toy box grandpa, it will grow with her a long long time!

Don't you wish you knew which thing they would like the best for Christmas and save the rest of your money. I really think we could have got them just the Jeep (& Santa, of course) and they would have been perfectly happy. Lexi just loves it. Madyson calls the passenger seat the "waiting seat" but that is where Lexi sits. Of Course they got lots of other things they play with and fight over! Madyson stays in her dress-up clothes that Allie got her & Lexi runs around in the dress up shoes!

I am sure everyone has heard the song All I want for Christmas is my 2 front teeth, well Lexi got 2 teeth, not the front (she has had those), but her bottom cuspids (I think that is the technical term) you know the Vampire teeth! She has also started saying her ABC's & counting to 10. She does pretty good on her ABC's but for some reason doesn't say x, y, z instead she repeats Q, R, S, T, U V. Madyson was saying her ABC & Counting to 10 at 20 months so Lexi is close. Lexi knows a lot more words and speaks a lot more complete sentences than Madyson at that age.

We have stayed pretty busy with basketball this year. As most everyone knows, Drew is the Head coach this year, but he has no assistant so he is doing everything. He must be doing something right because we are big talk in the 5A basketball world. www.hsssportsms.com/Rankings.html We think we are over rated, but we are about to find out if we are as good as they say. We have a big challenge next Monday against Ridgeland - so say a little prayer. They are huge!

Christmas has come so fast! It is a full time job keeping Lexi from unwrapping the presents under the tree. It is going to be real fun this year. It is also going to be real different. San-San & Papa Smurf are not coming home, and The Wamble crew have decided to have Santa at home this year - so I will try and take lots of pictures.

Speaking of pictures - I found my camera! I know most of you didn't know it was missing, but it was a mega crisis for me! All it took is some straightening up!

Ok, bare with me... we are going way back! I got some catching up to do:O)

San-San & Papa Smurf came for Thanksgiving and because they are not coming back for Christmas they went ahead and gave the girls their presents. The week of Thanksgiving Drew had a tournament in Tish County so the girls spent the night with mom & dad Monday, and San-San & Papa Smurf kept them on Tuesday until I got home. Since they got their Christmas presents early they had plenty to do. That tumble mat has made for many good fights! Madyson absolutely loves it. She is doing great in tumbling. She is super close to a back handspring on her own. Her teacher says she could do it, but Madyson won't try if Mrs. Casey doesn't spot her. She also is really close to her handstand walkover.

This weekend my Aunt Sharon & Uncle Forrest flew in from Arizona, so Aunt Cathy, Uncle Tony, Ashley & Baby Lucy came up Friday. We all met at Allies and went for a walk in Lake Lowndes. Later that night we hung out at moms and at Brunswick Stew. The girls had a great time they just love Baby Lucy!

Fairy Princess Butterfly Madyson

We went trick or treating in Allie's neighborhood this year. Madyson lasted a whole 5 houses and wanted to go back and hand out candy. One of the houses scared her and she was scared of all of the "scary" costumes so she was done. Lexi loved it though. I kept asking her if she was ready to go back to Allie's house, but she would just point to the next house and say "that way" When we finally did get back she didn't leave that candy bucket.

Madyson had another birthday party at Jumpin G's this morning for Kensley, one of her friends at school. All of her friends are turning 5, but that doesn't bother Madyson she keeps up w/ them all step for step - if she is not the leader of the group. Lexi went to and had a ball!

18 Months Update

Lexi had her 18 months check up Wednesday! She started crying as soon as we turned in to the Dr.'s office parking lot. She did really well for Lexi. He said she is a good healthy girl! She weighs 26 pounds and is 33 inches. Her tubes are on the way out & new teeth are on the way in! She has developed quite a little personality. Her sister calls her "swiper"(those who are familiar w/ Dora will understand). She loves to take stuff from Madyson toys, food, etc. It doesn't matter if they have the same exact things on their plate - it just tastes better from Madyson's! She talks extremely well. We are working on our letters and numbers. She wants to do whatever her big sister is doing, go wherever her big sister is going, and will say whatever big sister says!

We went to Oxford to visit w/ my new cousin Lucy & watch New Hope play football. Madyson wanted to hold her right away. Yesterday Amanda & her little girl Addison came over to watch the MSU v Georgia Tech game and Madyson was immediatley asking to hold her. She tells everyone that when Lexi turns 3 and is no longer in diapers she is going to have a baby brother. We are definitely hoping she is right, but for now we will enjoy Madyson & Lexi and look forward to our two new cousins to come.
